  If Titane can win Palm d'or why not the Substance (I know excatly why).

  Campy, silly, and stylized body horror, but ultimately the film is fun time in the cinema. Love the makeup. Oscar winner for the substance sounds cool, no?

  My last film of Sydney Film Festival and probably the best way to end it.

  Inherently this film an important is part of the protest againts the corrupt justice system and oppressing law. The family is the allegory of Iran situation.

  Putting aside the political stuff, the film itself is produced really well despite the pressure they experience. The acting hits you hard in the guts. The film never let you go with its gripping tension.

  Lastly, the inclusion of the actual footages helps you get at the same headspace our characters experiencing.
