It pains my heart to give this a low score as I had been eagerly anticipating watching it for quite some time. It has a lot going for it on the technical side of things--the settings are exceptional (aeration plant, Water Therapy Clinic, pools), the coloring, music, and costuming all add to the strange mysterious aesthetic, the camera work is engaging. The House at the End of Time 2013
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

The Dead Thing 2024
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Absolutely abysmal. Plot, writing, characters, score, soundtrack, color grading were all trash.
How do you make ghost fucking this boring? How do you make toxic abuse so shallow? Do we really need a ghastly aggressive incel ghost? Do we?
