My mate Orgs reckoned this made him cry. About half way in I thought no way, but then at the end, sure enough, it got me. I should never doubt Orgs. It's pretty cringe at times but ultimately heartwarming. Be careful watching if you've got any 'Dad stuff' in the emotional vault - which we all do, right?

The Social Network 2010
Two hours of a bunch of nerds talking really fast to each other about nothing particularly interesting and I find it so rewatchable.

Gladiator 2000
I was troubled by the thought of seeing the new Gladiator film as I've been reliably informed it SUX. Then I remembered "hey, you know what doesn't suck? Gladiator. The original". So I watched that instead. What a great decision. And what, as I already knew, a great film. The lesson? Don't do new stuff, keep repeating the things you already know you like. They call it the comfort zone because it's comfortable. Who doesn't want to be comfortable?
Side note, watching Rusty in this film is the closest I ever come to feeling patriotic.

Field of Dreams 1989
Every scene of this film involves either Kevin Costner building a baseball field for ghosts to play baseball, or Kevin Costner watching ghosts play baseball on the baseball field Kevin Costner built for ghosts to play baseball, or Kevin Costner talking about ghosts playing baseball on the baseball field Kevin Costner built for ghosts to play baseball, and I couldn't love it more. Seriously. I love Kevin Costner. And ghosts. And baseball.
