On a re-watch, I am fully confident in my rating. Sequences that had stayed in my mind since I first saw them were even better this time around; Caesar visiting his dead wife, and Caesar tripping at the colosseum in particular were fantastic.
Captures the beautiful human contradiction in wanting to preserve everything we love in the present while facing the fear of uncertainty you're faced with when trying to build a better future for those things.
