Mickey 17 2025
Life is better when there’s a new Bong Joon Ho film that’s come out. Absolutely depressing look at how our society treats class, oppression and how valuable a life truly is told through a comedic lens that makes you want to be kind of bummed about what’s happening but ultimately you just want to laugh.
Robert Patterson is awesome as Mickey Barnes, just a guy trying to get through life and spend time with Naomi Ackie and he is shines…

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish 2022
This is probably the recency bias speaking, but this is honestly one of the best big studio animated films to come out recently and in years. Full Metal Jacket 1987
No one does it like Kubrick. With this being my second Kubrick film, I haven’t seen a more effective war film. Some of the most vivid imagery, amazing performances, beautiful cinematography and some amazing sets. I mean the first act itself is so amazing, it honestly could’ve worked on its own but then there’s the rest of the film that elevates it to the highest level. Also some fucking great needle drops.

Attack on Titan: THE LAST ATTACK 2024
A nice introduction for me into the series, even though it was the final 2 episodes. Animation looks nice, fight scenes are cool, characters have some great moments and it’s got the guy from Fortnite.

Another Round 2020
Jesus fucking Christ, went into this expecting like a funny little comedy about some guys who like to drink a lot and left like really sad but also very uplifted because of that ending?
Thomas Vinterberg directs this so well, having the film just shift the tone from yay alcohol makes you function better to alcohol will ruin your life no matter what. I’m sure it’s a topic and an issue that many would struggle with when watching the film.…
