Loved this film as a kid. Coming back to it nearly thirty years later, there is so much that has not aged well. The effects are still ground breaking for their time, but were extremely limited in capability.

My hat is off to Vera Drew for speaking her truth and having the guts to speak her truth in such a lavish and color piece.
Personally, the movie didn’t speak to me. And while I think some character remixes and uses muddle the overall themes and metaphors, I can’t deny the film’s creativity, humor and spirit.
It’s not for me. But it could be for you.
Based on other reviews, I clearly saw a different movie than most people. This is a wonderful film that tells an emotional story that is surprisingly small scale for Buzz Lightyear.
