Three things upon rewatch:
1. The ending is like a second bag of gravel being dumped on you.
2. Mikey Madison has a ton of juice, she gets it and totally disappears as Annie. Her character is the truth and she is contrasted so well by the inhumane sickness of the oligarchs she is entangled with.
The arc from hustler, to cinderella, to tragedy is evident and you feel it as the viewer so deeply.
