  What a weird movie. I'm a fan of Shiraishi, but this one didn't sit right with me. I haven't read the original, but the pacing and mood were all over the place; actors sometimes overracted and sometimes didn't act enough.

  That one trailer with the giggle was better than this entire movie frankly.

  I don't care about this movie enough to write down everything I didn't like, but I had to comment on this because the soundtrack was awful. So off putting and out of place, I don't remember the last time embarrassing songs took me out of the experience. Absolutely tone deaf.

  In my entire horror obsessed life the only two horror movies that genuinely scared/unnerved me were the ring 2002 and this one. Peak horror for me.

  (I watched Gonjiam in all dark with earphones on so I recommend, great experience.)
