Navalny 2022
This is straight up propaganda 🤣🤣🤣 conveniently didn’t mention that Navalny is the “Russia for Russians” type of politician and just barely glossed over the fact that he was in marches and protests with NAZIS. People are loving this documentary but nobody is stopping to think about the fact that it was produced by CNN and that Bellingcat works directly for the CIA and MI6. On top of everything, it was straight up boring except for the bonkers call to Kudryavtsev.

Portrait of a Lady on Fire 2019
It was odd to watch the scene where they described the first painting as technically good but lacking soul or life, because that perfectly describes this film. It was a beautiful movie and made by someone who clearly understands movies, but in the end it ended up being too formulaic and style over substance. It was also kind of boring?
