  The Intruder est un film audacieux pour son époque. Il reste un témoignage saisissant des tensions raciales qui traversaient l’Amérique et un rappel de la fragilité des valeurs démocratiques face aux discours extrémistes.

  Le film est avance sur son temps en donnant une voix à la communauté afro américaine qui fut souvent mal représenté par l’industrie cinématographique américaine et notamment Hollywood.

  I honestly don’t know what to think about this movie.

  To be honest, my opinion is biased. Everyone was telling me about how this movie was so gross and disgusting. While it had its really disturbing moments, most of the movie felt, in my opinion, pretty predictable. I mean it’s a movie with some sort of rules so I guess it is kinda obvious it would turn out so.

  One word. Predictable 

  I really hate to be that one person that didn’t like that one piece of media most people like, but this frustrated me so much that I feel the need to express it with words.

  Let’s start with the things that I liked:
  - The nostalgic effect for his childhood was well handled and the style was effective
