I must be a masochist having this film as a comfort movie.

But it strangely is comforting, even if you cannot avoid bawling in the last 10 minutes. Kal Ho Naa Ho makes you feel a little apnapan in a city like New York, from its opening shots to the iconic title song shot on the Brooklyn Bridge — which is precisely what I was going for as a NYC hater.
