Why does it feel invalid or inexistant if there’s no evidence? Isn’t it enough that we were once present and lived through those memories. I was quite impatient with this film—having already tried watching it twice before, and I am so upset with myself for not having the patience sooner. Thamrongtattanatit just has a way with artful and poetic storytelling. He brilliantly depicts and foreshadows our current generations struggle of having “proof” of an experience, our over reliance on documentations of memories.
