  Not sure why people dickride this movie like crazy when there are so many other WAY better examinations of depression and existentialism in tons of movies. This was just pretentious and kind of stupid in my opinion. The movie had (almost) no good shots that made me stop and admire them, aside from the ones made with a stationary camera; shocking. Honestly, even von Trier’s other movies like Antichrist deal with depression (albeit a different kind) in a MUCH better…

  Fairly predictable after a certain point but I don’t think that matters that much. Just a really, really fun, well-done watch. Amazing set design, great acting, fire soundtrack. Cheers! We love to see a man winning.
