  on paper this was tailor-made for me- two women of color working in a library; whole run time is them turning phrases and playing with words, long sequences of their maintenance labor and book imagery. women’s friendship and education, some vague sapphic vibes? but somehow it didn’t hit, actually felt tedious tbh. maybe i need to rewatch in a better mood🤷🏿‍♀️

  i really, really hope this gets restored, because the print i saw was very shaky and the audio was indecipherable for like a smooth quarter of it. that said, i love an artful depiction of historical continuity! and in one bloodline to boot? 😚👌🏿
