The Projector: DREAMSCAPES: A DAVID LYNCH RETROSPECTIVE
    9 March 2025

My first viewing of this was in 2017 & got me on the David Lynch craze. This is my second viewing. A lot shorter than I remember, but I remember the feeling. I feel like he never got back to this level of rawness until Inland Empire & Twin Peaks: The Return.

Am realising how much of this movie I’ve either forgotten or tuned out… first time I watched this, midway through had an argument with someone.

But watching it recently on the silver screen, what a pleasant watch. Though it lacks just a bit for me rewatch it.

This is still a beautiful movie. That ending is everything. Buuut. It felt like the scenes before it didn’t earn that ending. It was on the cusp of it.
    Even now I wonder…
