A film for everyone is a film for no one.
The Russo brothers attempt to make the original message of Simon Stalenhag more accessible to a broader and younger audience has caused it to be practically abandoned in favor of a story that prefers spelling things out in an outright abysmally boring way.
The original art book is one of my favorite science fiction stories, I was really hoping to find at least a bit of joy from seeing it…

One of the most beautiful films I've ever seen, I love how obsessed with sunsets this movie is.
There was a really wonderful amount of personality poured into each of the animals, and theres so many aspects of the worldbuilding that I'm going to be pondering for a good while
