Escape from the Planet of the Apes 1971
Very accurate portrayal of how the US government would respond to apes from the future arriving in Los Angeles. Honestly kind of painted the government in a much nicer light than reality. The president especially has some radical views about the treatment of apes and ape rights. Super fucked up ending somebody really should check in on the man making these movies cuz I don’t think he is well.

What the actual fuck was that? the number of times I said what the fuck is happening in this movie was impossible to count. None of this made sense. it low-key was propaganda?
