Such a manipulative film: FEEL FEEL FEEL! Unfortunately it managed to annoy more than thrill, containing the usual Nolan problem of taking itself way too seriously while simultaneously having very little to actually say. The result is a bombastic array of overly-stimulating war montage and set pieces that grow stale in their one-upmanship about halfway through.
And Zimmers' score really makes you want to tear your hair out doesn't it?
