This whole trilogy is so great. Pearl is still the most fully-realized (due to a Mia Goth co-writing credit, perhaps?), but you’d have to be either squeamish (fair) or boring to not have a blast watching any of them. Maxxxine is no exception.
Just incredible. I really love this movie: the pacing, the art direction, Mia Goth’s incredible performance, the complex themes. I’ve never seen a film like this. It is transcendent.
