  Aesthetically didn’t feel like a typical bong movie but otherwise definitely another bong banger. Satire, heart, lovely performances, I can understand how some people think it might have been too much scale wise or too on the nose in its satire but I still felt like everything worked

  The runtime can be justified tho imo parts could be trimmed, phenomenal tone atmosphere and all around very creative technically. I think thematically it loses traction in the later parts; I’ve seen people cite some possible Objectivist themes, and I can see where they get that from (and I think that’s a detractor-objectivism sucks) but overall a unique interesting epic that made me think and I enjoyed
