Interstellar 2014
got to watch it in imax and it continues to impress. from millers planet to the docking sequence is absolute peak. there’s just so many high points, almost cried on three separate occasions throughout the movie, was feeling extra emotional the score moved me more than it has listening to it that loud. the scenes with turbulence or explosions were so loud i could feel the vibrations from the sound. still a 5 out of 5. despite this being my 5th or 6th watch, i would watch it again.

Monster House 2006
chowder is by far the most influential person of the modern age. his poise, his basketball skills, and his sophistication are really what encapsulate this legend of a man. this move genuinely surprised me and was much more enjoyable than i expected it to be. the truth that horace nebbercracker was really a good guy kind of turned me off, i wanted this movie to have a more sinister plot. however i would recommend this as a must watch for spooky season.

the score is impactful until they started singing and then it lost the magic for me, the climax of this movie is the drifting scene and the best character was the hobo obviously played by the one and only.
overall the christmas vibes are what brings me the enjoyment and this is such a rewatchable movie
