this movie is more incredible than it should be, it’s lots of 90s art school kids spewing insults at eachother and being painfully bisexual with a peppering of the surreal
visually this is beyond stunning, each character is reflected in their surroundings, the lack of meaningful dialogue is made up for in each room’s ability to tell a story

Genuinely so bad. It is trying to be too many things all at once- a “don’t ask don’t tell” style queer tale, body horror, lynchian, using significant amounts of visual symbolism without ever really revealing what it means, and it’s also a period piece?
It boils down to being a story of one of the first times an elder gay brought a twink to do ayahuasca.
