The Killer 2023
A movie about a character who's usually just a hired goon. Call it The Gooner maybe.
For better or worse, very low-key for David Fincher. It's just fine — no better than good. The Steven Soderbergh influence is strong, much stronger than the little actual, uncredited involvement he apparently had. I sensed his presence before even knowing he had anything to do with it. I smelt him in the air.
