BNW makes The Falcon and Winter Soldier look like a very thought provoking and sophisticated 6 hour movie!

Not entirely sure what the point of the whole movie was, why things happened, and what the characters learned from the experience. At least it was visually interesting, because the dialogue was painfully pedestrian

It’s actually alright, good in parts, had lots of potential to be a truly great thriller but it just didn’t quite stick the landing! And don’t think too hard about it or you might find some plot holes!
Definitely a product of its time, Post Watergate America full of conspiracies. Distrust in the American Government has never been so low!

Pixar have presented a movie that admirably builds on the amazing world and characters of Inside Out. The sequel has no shortage of interesting and entertaining things going on visually, and plenty of laughs just like the original. This movie is definitely not boring!
There was a lot of important ideas and themes raised, and relatable teenager moments, but in the end I don’t feel like they quite stuck the landing and brought it all together in as deeply meaningful and impactful way as the first movie. Still, a solid sequel worthy of existing, which should prompt plenty of thoughtful discussion about the human experience.

Very strange movie! Sam Raimi did some pretty cool stuff with directing the action. Visuals were wild and dark. The writing was a bit of a letdown. Probably would’ve been a better movie if it wasn’t so complicated and trying to achieve so much.
