Probably really hard to make a better Dylan movie. Cate Blanchett is so so good in this.

Queer 2024
Kind of a strange movie but to be expected considering the source material here. It’s impossible to map Burroughs onto modern understandings of queerness and I’m glad there’s not really an attempt to do that here. The dominant framework of the time was pathology, and this is a story that lives in those pathologies. The best thing done here is making you feel how miserable everyone is.
