  A weird and interesting film, found the story to be engaging and Pattinson and Ruffalo were great to watch, HOWEVER! The messaging of the film felt very heavy handed, what happened to films that just focus on the characters and plot instead of telling the audience how to feel, it’s an insult to the viewer!  (Examples in the film include the extremely obvious Trump esque character and ‘workers treated badly and taken advantage of by the powerful in society’ trope)…

  Would’ve given this a 7.5/10 if I could, an enjoyable watch with a good story and interesting exploration of fatherhood and well acted, the ending wasn’t a bit of me though, understand it was meant to be interpretative, but I found it a bit baffling

  The Armando Iannucci Shows 2001

  Criminally underrated series, Iannucci was so ahead of his time with this one. He takes a lot of big swings and mostly succeeds in his delivery of absurdist comedy, but there are a few shit sketches as well. There’s a reason he went on to be one of most renowned comedic writers in the UK. Is a completely original show which is weirdly comforting and existential at the same time, highly reccommend if his humour is your cup of tea.

  Preferred Barbie over this but Oppenheimer still deserves its flowers. Find Cillian Murphy quite creepy but overall was an interesting story that was well executed. Cillian and Emily Blunt put in great performances that elevated the film, for three hours I felt there was too much dialogue and was hard to follow at times. The themes of morality and the link between science and politics left you with a lot to think about, but yeah enjoyable film well done guys xx
