Dr. Strange 1978
People in the 70s were stupid for not appreciating this backdoor pilot.
Only negative is they put Strange in his traditional outfit, then they give him this superheroed up version that sucks.

The Man Who Killed Don Quixote 2018
I remembered I saw this in 2018 when it came out, and had to keep it a secret because I bought my roommate a ticket to see it as well as a nice surprise, unfortunately, he was violently ill, and lacking any idea of how to proceed, decided to go see it by myself. I then told him a few years later and he's still mad I didn't drag his feverish corpse to the local Marcus theater. Alas. I'm just really very sold on Adam Driver in most things, aand it was a nice balm between black pilling star wars films

Nosferatu 2024
They had me at Paracelsus.
They had me earlier than that, of course, but good lord, what an absolute banger.
A few stand outs
-Renfield and Van Helsing are sort of occult foils, this is not commented on but they excellently mirror each other
-Schema Nuns!
-Few adaptations of the source material have so perfectly captured the feeling of solitude and desperation the cast of Dracula have once they have worked out what they're up against, they are 4 people…

Gladiator II 2024
On the better side of his mid films
May have been the projector, but I thought it was a bit overly dark, like the visuals
