  Wow this must have gone hard in the 2010s.  Really miss this era but have to admit this was like an 80s movie intellectualism with Nokia phones

  Edit: I listened to a few interviews from this director and this is back to a 3/5.  The aesthetic and the technical accomplishment of the film is perfect in that it’s thinking right ahead of the zeitgeist, but I am now sure that the ethos of the film comes up short.  The ending doesn’t really know what it means or wants to express and it feels shallow minded to me.
