The little detail of Lee already knowing about the cemetery's no disturbance rule because of history. The whole thing is very well written and real. The ending catch scene in particular when the ball rolls away and lee just keeps walking for Patrick to catch it anyways is really symbolic of their relationship. Lee wants nothing more than to live in his emotional cocoon but Patrick wont give up on him.
