  the thriller dance scene are u kidding me 🥲
  mark ruffalo and jennifer garner 🥲
  the razzles 🥲
  the sleepover party with all of the girls singing to ‘love is a battlefield’ while jumping on the bed 🥲
  such a lovely film about growing up, staying in touch with your youth, and showing up for the people u love despite anything else 🥲
  this movie will forever have a special place in my heart <3

  wanted this to go ~there~ a little bit more
  the narrative fell flat for me, especially in the final act
  but nicole kidman is incredible, as is harris dickinson who i have a feeling made his character in script much more interesting due to his performance 
  antonio banderas ! phenomenal ! despite his underdeveloped character
  but ultimately this movie left me thinking more about power dynamics in sex, psychology, career, gender, etc, etc and is definitely important

  step-by-step counterfeit money making w willem dafoe, an epic car chase, the neon font opening credits, the 80s in la, wang chung synths, the cool women characters, the often naked psychopath men characters, bright red blood gore
