I’m torn on what I want to rate this movie. Upon finishing the first act we knew exactly where everything was headed. Also by God, the music is so annoying.
I’m glad it exists to show these events. BUT, I know that this movie is really just the point of the tip of the iceberg of substance use/drug & sex trading/harmful lifestyle spirals. From our perspective, these characters are still lucky. We never saw rock bottom for any of them except Ma, I believe.
