The Lovebirds has two great leads and some fun moments but ultimately I forgot about it half an hour after it finished.

1917 2019
1917 was an entertaining movie that would have been a lot less impactful without the one-shot gimmick. Although the film was tense and emotional I couldn’t help but feel a little disappointed in some parts where the story felt a little hollow for example, extended sequences of just walking through mud ect. The acting was great and as usual l, the cinematography by Roger Deakins was great (especially in the night scenes). All up 1917 was a fun and intense experience but is maybe a little over hyped.
