  SOPHIE THATCHER YOU WILL ALWAYS BE FAMOUS. also the fact that gay people also will be buying sex bots is an aspect of the future that I hadn’t considered until watching this movie. It was super fun.

  “you guys really thought Anora was exploitative and pro-sex work??” um yes i did think the movie where the first ten minutes features a montage of lap dances as “establishing shots” was exploitative. This movie does not portray sex work in a negative light, and every thing we assume will go wrong, does. Oh the 21 year old Russian millionaire isn’t a good person and screws over our main character?? Who could have seen THAT coming??? Glorifying being a stripper…

  poor things was my best movie of 2024, then this came out. body horror done to perfection, the ending gets a little tusk-esque. it is GROSS. i like gross. demi moore is a national treasure. dennis quaid is a weirdo. margaret qualley is hot! 
  beautifully shot, extreme close ups that made me feel sick, so-gross-i-peeked-through-my-fingers, don’t watch this if you hate needles. demi i am getting you that oscar 🙂‍↔️🙂‍↕️

  I also wanted film of the year on this account. Best comedy I’ve seen in a WHILE. If the white gays got Love Simon, I’m glad the black queer girl representation I got in this movie came in the form of Ayo Edebiri. The comedic timing in impeccable, and it’s truly laugh-out-loud humor. Even my straight boyfriend enjoyed this one. 10/10.
