  When I was watching this movie, I just couldn’t shake the thought that something was just not right. I came to the conclusion that it was the fact that this movie is 1) in English; and 2) situated in New York and not in Spain. Furthermore, the colours were just not as vibrant as they normally would in an Almodovarian world. The two good things were the music (Alberto Iglesias, love you) and Tilda Swinton. Because Tilda, that’s why. Pedro, just return to your dramatic, vibrant, loud Spanish world. I miss it.
