  The Green Knight 2021

  This movie was very well made. The shots were gorgeous; both the panning style and the photography itself. I really enjoyed the score and I think it added a lot to the film. Not only did it immerse me into the time period, it conveyed the emotions of the film quite successfully. The lack of dialogue felt like a great choice and it made me appreciate the cinematography even more. The ending confused me a little bit, at the part when Essel gives birth. It’s definitely not the genre I would normally watch, but I’m glad I did because it was really just amazing.

  Attack the Block 2011

  I really enjoy the theme of the movie and the idea that the Block was its own community. Cinematography wise, I loved the opening shot- panning down from the sky. There were a lot of great shots utilizing lines and movement. I think it fell short during the alien fight scenes when it turned to an almost slasher style.
