Another movie which disappointed me with a few choices they made regarding book accuracy. I understand we only have so much screen time but they could have done a better job in some aspects. Still enjoyed it.

2001: A Space Odyssey 1968
Surprised that I don’t see any reviews from people who also read the book??? The book is one of my favourites of all time and so I was really disappointed with the scene following the travel through the monolith/wormhole. Not only was I disappointed that the movie completely strayed from the book but also the fact that the scene went on for an absolutely unbearable and unnecessary amount of time. Otherwise? I thought the film was great (it was my first of Kubrick’s too). It’s slow, sure, but so was the book! The cinematography made up for that imo.
