  I’ve seen this movie so many times, I’ve lost count. It is my ultimate comfort film. The energy David Byrne exudes is contagious, and the lyrics sung invoke nostalgia and euphoria throughout. It truly is one of the greatest movies ever made and feels like a second home in such a comforting way for whatever stage of life I’m in.

  Rebel Without a Cause 1955

  The entire movie is pure surrealism. The plot is slightly bizarre so that the movie feels a tad bit off. The main trio are great, but this movie is ultimately a lot more interesting to think about and discuss than it is to watch.

  Nothing new to add. This film is nearly perfect. It gets Miles’ character so right, from his misremembering of lyrics as a tool to curb curse words, to the song choices themselves, and his Jordans. Miles is remarkably well established as are other characters like Gwen Stacy.

  This film greatly benefits from a rewatch of the original trilogy.

  Well paced and well shot. Jeff Bridges plays a phenomenal character that cracked me up every time he spoke with that thick accent. They nailed just about every aspect of Texas from the Shiner to the “do what?” and “y’alls.” Entertaining plot that kept me engaged throughout.
