Still Very Good. Pacing's slack in the middle but not sure any other serial killer movie did the "detective and killer are same" schtick better. "Smell yourself."

The Last Time I Saw Richard 2013
Sad, sensitive short horror about two teenagers who form a friendly then romantic bond in a mental hospital over the demons one of them sees. Could be considered a "Gay Tragedy" kind of movie but at its best its unnerving and yet quietly moving.

Very fun, clever, and even deeply touching when it isn't Making Points (one speech just stops the movie dead in its tracks and feels like a parody of the Sorkinist belief that monologues can solve problems). Everyone, especially Gosling and Robbie, are in on the zippy, absurd energy here, and its a damn good time. I can't really imagine a better movie funded by Mattel. Wait they're making more movies? Oh fuck, fuck, what have we done, fuck
