  In the Heights 2021

  Anthony Ramos is undeniably talented. The colors of the movie are really pleasing to the eyes, and I could not get over about the big numbers such as 96,000 or In The Heights in the opening.

  However, does it needs to be a 2,5 hour-movie? 🤨 (considering the story is just circling around a short time period) And clearly, all of the actors can sing/rap flawlessly, but for some, when delivering their lines....just a bit off. There were too many amazing things that they're trying to slip into this movie, instead it just lose some of the magic I feel 😔

  Did it felt like 4 hours? For me surprisingly, not really, no.

  Honestly there's nothing really to compare. I have no memory of the theatrical cut (since it was very much a forgettable movie experience) except the fact that he cut all the cheesy unnecessary try-too-hard jokes and comedy bits in this one.

  It is a completely different movie, and this is how it supposed to be in the first place 💪🏻

  P.S.: and I personally feel that they did justice to Ray Fisher in this one 👏🏻👏🏻
