Seeing myself have my ass kicked over and over again by Spider-Man on Marvel Rivals has led me to (willingly) watch an MCU movie for first time since End Game, and I choose this movie.
Honestly, it was surprisingly quite entertaining. It was fun and the jokes aren't as obnoxious as Love and Thunder but it was enjoyable.
Like most MCU after Thanos arc, it's not without faults. But its blemishes are overshadowed by its amazing fight choreography and great acting by (only by) Tom Holland as Peter Parker
C'mon Hosoda-san... you gotta step up your game.
If I had a nickle for every Mamoru Hosoda film that features a virtual world that lets avatar roam free and fight to their (virtual) deaths, I'd have 3 nickles. Somehow this one has failed to live to 2 of it's predecessor (Digimon: Our War Game (2000) and Summer Wars (2009))

The reason why I watch this is because Super Eye Patch Wolf mentioned this briefly in his video. I love how they mix the live taping style of shot when they're live and the fly on the wall type of shot when they're off the air. For a horror film it's not that scary but the mystery that surrounds the psychic and the supernatural stuff is intriguing
