  other dramas have tried wtcb's blend of romance and crime thriller but no one does it like them. no one in the six years that followed has managed to steal their perfect formula. this is unfortunate but also a testament to how well it was done in this drama

  it's very strange to me how a kdrama can look so expensive yet feel so cheap. no actually i know why it's because the plot is flimsy and even yoo yeon-seok's delivery could not save the cringey mess that are his lines. i know this is an adaption of a web novel, a genre KNOWN for its romantic cringe (that, i might add, is supposed to be enjoyable in the way fast food is), but it truly gets to a point. it gets to a point. i am sick and tired. come up with an original idea. i feel fucking diabetic.
