  40% into the movie you can predictably guide yourself beat by beat to the finish line. Characters were ploys for manufactured melodrama so tired and trite it made me roll my eyes every step of the way. Soul-less orphans and widowers….

  Just go watch Shin Godzilla. They did my guy so dirty by making this as surface-level political as possible. Oh! There’s radiation! Oh! Intl’ conflict’s left us stranded! Oh! The gov is just a bunch of bozos!

  Falls so deep into its own optimistic fantasy by the end that it winds up being Hollywood (derogatory).
