How are you a pig but yet you are sexist and ageist, pick a struggle. This was probably the weakest Miyazaki I’ve seen. Animation and soundtrack are good as always and I appreciate its message about faith in humanity but it doesn’t lean into it as much I feel and a lot is missing here for me.

If I was Dreax I would have smashed Alyssa’s phone so Keshawn could not be contacted. I need Issa Rae to continue her movie producing moment! This felt very insecure and I loved it for that. Keke was hilarious (that Medusa joke was on another level) as always and Sza did great for a first acting role. Plus the press tour for this film with all three of them had me laughing plenty. Alyssa’s growth did feel like it came out of nowhere and I would have liked more discord before they reunite for the drama
