  Black Bag is basically a high brow Mr and Mrs Smith. It’s unique and suave, with an incredible performance from Michael Fassbender. The only thing holding this back is some ugly cinematography.

  Nothing about this, other than the title, suggests it takes place in the John Wick world. I’d say it looks and feels like a super cheap knockoff, but that’s not even the case.   This movie is superb, and should be a 4 or 5 star movie. It’s super tense and unsettling. And David Dastmalchian and Ingrid Torelli give such incredible performances. 
  Then why the half star you ask? Cuz there’s AI “art” used in this and it’s so blatantly obvious and unnecessary. It adds absolutely nothing to this movie, yet takes away everything. I understand this is likely a low budget film, but the filmmakers saved what? $500? Just to have two or…
