  Jake Gyllenhaal's performance in Donnie Darko is astonishing. Donnie Darko is a extremely thought provoking movie that requires you to put many things together. Some of the dialogue is very clever and intriguing. The ending wraps up the movie but it still leaves room for plenty of speculation and theories. Overall Donnie Darko is a good film and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to watch a mind bending movie.

  Mulholland Drive 2001

  Mulholland Drive has a very complex story. It's so complex that you won't understand it after seeing it, which is why I'm giving it such a low rating. I can understand why people give this such a high rating because the movie has a unconventional structure with great acting from Naomi Watts but I found the scenes without Naomi Watts to be boring in the first and second act. I had to look up a video explaining what I had just seen, which is why this movie gets a 4/10 from me.
