Shazam! Fury of the Gods 2023
A solid, fun movie. Found myself wondering whether anything would matter going forward in DC, but the film did what marvel has been struggling with lately: tell an intimate story where you see the big event through the eyes of a character rather than an amorphous blob of character traits that used to be a character.
Not the world’s best movie, but refreshing.

Robert Pattinson was great. Was thrilled to see Tim Key. Unfortunately, every time Ruffalo did his vaguely Trumpian dictatorial thing I just got sad (and not the good movie kind of sad).
