    Dreadful attempt to bait anglophiles and people who made Knives Out a Netflix franchise; great example of how using quirky blocking and camera moves can suck out any sense of identity. The movie falls into the trap that KO specifically avoided, of making a period comedy that looks like a Wes Anderson-ass modern thing. It’s so obvious how much they wanted this thing to look like other things. And the casting is all wrong, stating with making Sam Rockwell have an accent. David Oyelowo is great in everything else but he can’t even sell falling over a couch here
