  Certainly an adaptation improvement over the previous (made-for-TV) incarnation of Stephen King's It. However, still a problematic piece. To heighten tension, an easy 10-15 minutes could've been cut. Where Tim Curry's Pennywise was full of malevolent innocence and demented humor, Skarsgård is an admirable Pennywise, much more menacing and evil.
