The film splits halfway through and leaves you in company with the least compelling actor. First half is much more in tune with the rest of August’s filmography, which makes the second half kinda interesting.
Honningmåne is no Vertigo, Apichatpong or even Million Dollar Baby-level gearshift film. But it’s a very good curiosity.

Stopped watching the movie after the opening sequence, but had to turn it off several times during that same sequence. It was unbearably terrible. Having seen The Mask of Zorro a few times many years ago (and remember somewhat fondly as a fine adventure movie), I wonder now how that one holds up. "Legend" seems downright awful in every shot, line of dialogue and action. Anyone reading this, who has seen it in its entirety, please note if I was wrong to stop watching. I have a sense that this might be an overlooked entry to the stupid canon of worst movies ever made.
