  The beef in this film is so tense that one of the Papacy candidates has to take a load off by sucking a monster hit off the vape pen.

  Edward Berger nails the adult political thriller with impressive precision.

  Ralph Fiennes is fantastic to no surprise, and the development of the story can be as twisted and deceiving as the film’s mysterious characters. Even when it felt a bit obvious, a twist from left field would derail my expectations.
